The company, the parent company of the commercial and industrial companies, coordinates the synergies between the various activities of the Group which today has several subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
About 60 years have passed since the foundation of Dottor Gustavo Bertolini Prodotti Chimici, a one-man business like many at the time, founded by our grandfather who, together with degrees in Chemistry and Pharmacy, combined working experience in the family sugar business (Zuccherificio Bonora of Ferrara, later sold to Eridania SPA). Following the tradition which from the early 20th century combined land ownership with the first forms of the agri-food industry, today we are the fifth generation of entrepreneurs. In remembering the work of our grandfather, we dedicate this overview of the activities of our Group to him, at the same time thanking all those who, in the past and the present, have contributed to achieving and developing his projects and dreams.

The Group has shareholdings in various chemical, trading, distribution and production companies, diversifying and at the same time integrating its market experience. Alongside the sale of chemical products for industry, the primary activity of the group, which came into being with basic chemicals, there is the production of basic and fine chemicals, speciality chemicals, plasticizers and compounds. The third activity, logistics, organizes all the group’s activities (by road, rail and sea) and guarantees the support and efficiency required by our customers.
